CIC is the department at Corries Solicitors Ltd dedicated to helping victims of violent crime recover compensation from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA).

The CICA is a Government funded body set up in the 1960s to specifically provide victims of crime with recognition and compensation from society for any physical or mental injuries resulting from a crime of violence and in more serious cases for medical expenses, special equipment and compensation for loss of past or future earnings.
